A high level official delegation from Mozambique headed by Ms Filomena Albano Maiopue, National Director, CINCAJU, Government of Mozambiqu, visited Coir Board and held discussions with seniour officials of Coir Board.

Mr. M Kumararaja, Secretary and other officials of the Board received the delegation. Apart from the National Diorector, the delegation included Mr OliveiAmimo, Provincial Director for Agriculture, Mr Vicente Paulo C Chihale, Counseller-Commercial, High Commission of the Republic of Mozambique.

The delegation attended a meeting where various matters connected with teh development of coir industry in Mozambique were discussed at length.

A presentation depicting various facets of the coir industry was made before the delegation.
